Defense Camp

D Camp

Our 3-Day Defenseman Position-Specific Camp is designed to help players become more effective and confident on the blue line. Open to players 10U and older, this camp combines video sessions with high-repetition, game-focused on-ice training. Players will develop elite skating mobility, improve puck handling under pressure, refine shooting and scoring, and strengthen key defensive habits like gap control, angling, and positioning—all while building faster, smarter decision-making in real game situations.

Coaches:

Andy Jasicki grew up in Minnesota, playing high school hockey at Irondale. He went on to play College hockey at UW-Stout. After college he played 10+ years of professional hockey all around the globe, including: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, and Australia. He's been coaching for over 15 years and is one of the best in the business at training Defensemen.

Cole Mickel grew up playing in the BHC and RoughRider programs, until attending and playing high school hockey at Culver Military Academy. He went on to play juniors in the NAHL, followed by college hockey at Niagara University and St Mary's University. Cole just graduated college and is returning to his roots to help coach the next generation of Ds.
