LRR Hockey Director - Darin Schumacher

We are proud to announce that Darin Schumacher will be joining the Lady RoughRiders as our Lady RoughRiders Hockey Director for the upcoming season.  Darin brings more than 25 years of elite coaching, leadership, and teaching experience to our program. He has a proven track record in girls hockey, having built and led competitive high school programs and, most recently, guiding the 19U CDAHA Lady Thunder to a Rocky Mountain Regional Championship and a berth at USA Hockey Nationals.

Boulder Hockey Club 12AA wins Avalanche Qualifier, headed to Quebec for second year in a row!

DENVER — The Boulder Hockey Club (BHC) 12AA High Performance team secured their spot in the prestigious 66th Annual Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a thrilling overtime victory. The Riders defeated the Littleton Hawks 3-2 in the Avalanche International Qualifier final at Magness Arena on Monday, November 24.

For the second consecutive year, the two Colorado teams battled it out in the tournament final, with Boulder once again emerging victorious in overtime. BHC will now represent the state of Colorado as the "Junior Avalanche" for two weeks in February at the prestigious international tournament, which features 12U teams from around the world.

BHC & LRR 12U Win Silverstick Regional!!

Congratulations to the Boulder Hockey Club 12AA and the Lady RoughRiders 12A on winning their championship games in the Rocky Mountain Regional Silver Stick tournament. Both teams will advance to the Silver Stick final in Port Huron, MI (Co-Ed) and Sarnia, ON (Girls) in January. Let's Go Riders!!!
