Spring Edge Boss Training
Edge Boss Hockey Training focuses on building the skating foundation that every elite hockey player needs. The program emphasizes edge control, balance, and efficient movement patterns that allow players to skate with more agility, power, and confidence. Through structured edge-work drills and high-repetition movement patterns, players develop stronger turns, transitions, and directional changes while maintaining puck control.
By mastering inside and outside edges, players improve their ability to accelerate, pivot, and maneuver in tight spaces. These skating skills translate directly to game performance, helping players stay balanced in battles, change direction quickly, and maintain control at higher speeds.
1. Edge Control = The Foundation of Elite Players
Most elite players separate themselves through edge work and skating efficiency. Edge Boss directly trains:
- Inside and outside edge control
- Tight turns and pivots
- Acceleration and transitions
- Balance and agility in tight spaces
2. High-Repetition Skill Development
Players receive hundreds of edge touches per session, building muscle memory much faster than traditional practices.
3. Game Transfer
The drills mimic the movement patterns players use in games:
- Escaping pressure
- Creating separation
- Protecting the puck
- Changing direction quickly
4. Structured Skill Progression
Over 12 hours of training, players progressively build more advanced edge patterns and movement skills.
5. Great Offseason Development Window
Spring is the best time for technical skill development, when players can focus on improving skating without the pressure of games.
